We're getting new stuff in all the time, and this is the place to see what it is. Every Monday, we post our list of New Comics that we're expecting. We don't always get new gaming in on the same day, so we post those new arrivals as we get them. We'll also try to let folks know when we get any sizeable influx of out of print games or older comics & graphic novels.

We are happy to host games, club meetings and other events here in the store.  Check out our Google Calendar to see if the Gaming Table is available.

New Comics

We receive new comics every Wednesday, barring Holidays, and restocks throughout the week. This list is  subject to change due to shipping problems, distributor packing errors, and other generally unforeseen circumstances.  

We receive reships of graphic novels and comics weekly. Please inquire about older/in-stock titles, or check our eBay store for some great back issue runs and sets.

Key to abbreviations:

(MR) = Mature Readers. Indicates a title whose publishers feel contains content that may not be suitable for all ages.
TP= Trade Paperback
GN= Graphic Novel 
(A)= Adults Only. Indicates a title unsuitable for readers under 18.
(Note Price) indicates a change in the normal price structure of a monthly title, or a title whose price has changed since it originally appeared in Previews.
(O/A)= Offered Again. Indicates a title that has been offered before by our distributor but has been made available again, so it's not technically "new", though it is usually the first time we've carried it.
HC= Hardcover Book
SC= Soft Cover Book
(Of X)= A limited series, where X is the total number of issues planned for the series. 
COLL= Collection/Collected
ED= Edition

D&D Essentials GAME DAY Saturday, September 11!
We will celebrate the release of the new D&D Basic Set (in a fun retro Red Box) with an adventure created especially for occasion by Wizards Of The Coast.  Come on in and try the new D&D.  It's FREE, and open to everyone.  Sessions at Noon and 7 PM.

Miniatures Painting Workshop on second Saturday of every month.
Staff member Pete Serio will lead a free workshop for folks who want to paint gaming minis.  Novices and old hands welcome.  Feel free to bring your own--from any game--or we can provide you with a sample mini, paints and brushes. 
Next Meeting: SEPTEMBER 11th, 4:00-6:00 PM. (NEW TIME!)

Living Forgotten Realms D&D games: meetings on the first Thursday and third Sunday of every month.    We will be running D&D games here in the store, using Living Forgotten Realms adventures.  LFR is the official campaign setting of the RPGA (the long-standing official D&D fan club), and is set in the latest version of the Realms, using the current, Fourth Edition rules.  LFR games are open to any RPGA member with a legal character.  If you aren’t a member, joining takes two minutes and is free, and if you don’t have a character, we can make one up for you on the spot using Character Builder.  We run different adventures each time, so there's always something new.  (You can also play the same character each time or alternate characters if you want.)  These events are free, and open to anyone who wishes to play.  Next Meeting: September 2nd at at 6:30 PM.

Story Game Saga Night: meetings on the second Thursday every month at 7 PM.  Story Game Saga is a monthly Role-playing project where we play different stories form the history of a world we create together, using a variety of small press, 'independent' game systems. Many are locally-authored by designers right here in the Pioneer Valley. Our host and lead facilitator is Robert Bohl, author the dystopian 'Youth In Revolt' game "Misspent Youth". We meet on the second Thursday of every month. No experience necessary, we'll teach all rules and provide and needed materials.Story Game Saga is a monthly Role-playing project where we play different stories form the history of a world we create together, using a variety of small press, 'independent' game systems. Family Board Game Day: 2-5 PM, last Sunday every month. This event is open to all, but is specifically designed to teach games to new players, and especially younger children.  Next Meeting: August 29 at 2:00 PM.

Saturday Night Board Games:  7-11 PM, every Saturday night.  A casual play event open to one and all.  Bring your friends and your favorite games, or just come by and join the fun.  

We have several D&D Miniatures sets at bargain prices: boosters for Dangerous Delves are only $9.99 while supplies last, and Legendary Evils boosters are only $14.99 while supplies last.  We have some stock remaining of War Drums.  We also have Players Handbook Heroes sets 1 & 2 and a large selection of reasonably priced SINGLES from current and out of print sets. 

We have Boosters, Fat Packs, and intro decks for the 2011 Core Set, Archenemy deck sets, Slivers Premium Deck box set, the Phyrexia Vs Coalition Duel Deck set, several Plane Chase sets, and boosters and decks for Rise Of The Eldrazi, Worldwake and Zendikar.

We sell Games Workshop games, including Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, and the Lord Of The Rings Strategy Battle Game.  For each of these systems, we carry the core rule books, a selection of army source books and starter boxes, and a wide variety of paints, washes, brushes and modeling tools.  We also gladly take special orders for blister packs, boxes, books and hues that we do not have in stock.

Please remember that we are always looking to BUY your extra or unwanted Games Workshop or D&D minis, including plain old Commons, or your First, Second, or Third edition D&D books for store credit.
